HomeFoods
Demo e-commerce storefront for home-cooked pickles, podis, sweets and snacks from Indian home kitchens.

HomeFoods is a demo e-commerce storefront for a home-food marketplace, connecting home cooks across India with customers looking for pickles, podis, sweets and snacks made in small batches. The build includes a full product catalogue organised by category and region, a trending/bestseller carousel, individual home-kitchen/maker profiles, a build-your-own pantry-box flow, and curated combo boxes for gifting -- the core patterns a marketplace-style food brand needs to sell online.
Case Study
Challenge
Home-food and small-batch brands need to sell online without looking like a generic grocery template -- the storefront has to carry the same warmth and provenance (whose kitchen, which region, which recipe) that makes the product trustworthy in person.
Approach
Built the storefront around discovery and provenance: category and regional browsing, maker/kitchen profiles tied to each product, a bundle-builder for custom pantry boxes, and quick-add cart interactions across the product grids.
